While the Kansas City Chiefs were a three-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes29, and multi-year All-Pro Travis Kelce35-year-old Colorado wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter could teach Travis Hunter a thing or two about winning or catching passes. Hunter, the face of college football, taught his elders that they had to be a celebrity.

As part of an alarming NFL trend, Mahomes and Kelce had their homes broken into, prompting the likely No. 1 overall pick in 2025 to put the superstar tandem to shame despite still playing on Fridays and Saturdays .

“I’d leave those guards at that door 24/7. Every day,” Hunter said Tuesday “The Travis Hunter Show” podcast. “They have so much money, all they need is one guard. They change every few hours.

“You know they have security companies and stuff that have guards at the door. Just get one of those security companies. You’re still spending money on bull junk.”

Hunter, a consensus All-American, earned a 4.0 grade point average during the fall semester, and those smart things are showing up here.

Hunter boasts a NIL valuation of $6 million from endorsement deals with United Airlines, JLab, Celsius, Rock ‘Em Socks, EA Sports and Leaf Trading Cards.

With the influx of cash (and everything that comes with it) heading into Hunter’s bank account, the 21-year-old is hyper-focused on guarding it.

“You either want to protect your home or you don’t,” he said.
